You may be eligible for one of the following scholarships to study at Swinburne University of Technology. Please note that these scholarships are subject to change.

Study Lilydale Scholarships
Announced in 2008, Swinburne's Centenary year, the Study Lilydale Scholarships provide international students with an opportunity to experience the refreshed learning and living environment of the Lilydale campus.
The Study Lilydale Scholarship reduces your course fee by 10% per annum for the duration of your degree. All students who apply to study an on-campus, single degree at Lilydale are considered for the scholarship – no separate application is required.
Australian Government Scholarships
The Australian Government's overseas aid program aims to increase access to and the quality of education and training for people in partner countries. It brings under the one umbrella existing scholarship programs managed by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) and the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) and introduces a new AusAID managed awards program - Australian Leadership Awards.

Postgraduate Research Scholarships
Swinburne is a leading research institution. A number of different types of Postgraduate Research Scholarships are available each year.
Study Melbourne Scholarships (China)
Two Study Melbourne Scholarships are being offered in 2008 for new students from the People's Republic of China (PRC) to study at Swinburne University of Technology. There is one undergraduate degree scholarship and one postgraduate coursework degree scholarship available, in the following study areas:
Engineering, Science and Technology (in biotechnology and biochemistry), and Information Technology.
GOstralia! Study Abroad Scholarship 2008 (Germany)
GOstralia!'s Study Abroad Scholarship provides a 100 per cent tuition waiver for one German student commencing the Swinburne Study Abroad program in Semester 2, 2008. Selection is based on academic merit and a 250-word statement of intention. For more information on how to apply please contact GOstralia! at info@gostralia.de.
FUNED Postgraduate Scholarships (Mexico)
Swinburne offers four 25 per cent tuition waiver scholarships each year to Mexican students to study at Swinburne in Fundación Mexicana para la Educación, la Tecnología y la Ciencia (FUNED) approved programs. For more information on how to apply please contact Maria Duarte at mduarte@swin.edu.au.
AustraLearn Scholarships 2008 (US and Canada)
The following AustraLearn scholarships are available to students from the US and Canada:
- Two US$500 tuition waivers for students commencing the Swinburne Study Abroad program in Semester 2, 2008
- Two US$3000 tuition waivers for students commencing a full degree program at Swinburne in Semester 2, 2008.
