Religion & Places of Worship
Australia is a predominantly Christian country, but you can also find Buddhist temples, Islamic mosques, Sikh temples, and many other places of worship.
The Swinburne Chaplain can put you in touch with people of your own religious faith or give you information on where to go for worship.
Rev. Christopher Gibson cgibson@swin.edu.au, Assistant Chaplain is based on the Hawthorn campus. He is available to all international students, regardless of religious affiliation and can help you find people of your own language group, locate a church with similar cultural background or provide general assistance in coping with Australia.
