Commencing students
Your first semester’s fee is due in full prior
to your first enrolment. (Commencing students are students who are enrolling
in a new course for the first time at Swinburne. This
applies to students who may have previously enrolled
at Swinburne in a different course).
Re-enrolling or continuing students
Higher Education students will receive a re-enrolment
package from their faculty at the end of October each
year. TAFE students will be re-enrolled in November/December. You will receive a Tax Invoice / Liability
Statement from your Faculty for payment of your fees.
How to Pay Your Fees
Swinburne accepts Credit Card, EFTPOS, Telegraphic Transfers, Overseas bank drafts and Australian bank cheques. You can also pay by cash/cheque in some Standard Chartered banks in selected countries. For detailed payment information refer to the How to Pay Your Deposit and Fees page.

Semester 2, 2008 Instalment Dates |
Continuing international students can pay their Semester 2 tuition fee in two instalments:
|
50% due 22 July 2008 |
50% due 10 September 2008 |
Tuition fees must be paid by the stated due date.
Failure to do so may result in:
- The cancellation of
your enrolment at Swinburne. All enrolment terminations
at Swinburne will be reported
as required by Australian Government legislation.
This could lead to the cancellation of your student
visa.
- Your details being forwarded to a debt collection
agency.
You will be required to pay any associated cost
of collection and your credit rating in Australia
may
be affected.
If you can demonstrate exceptional circumstances, a 4-instalment payment plan is available at the beginning of each semester. Applications for Semester 2 close on Monday 16 June 2008.
