Individual and small group appointments

Individuals or small groups (2-3 people) can book a 30-60 minute appointment to see an LAS adviser at the Hawthorn, Prahran, Lilydale and Wantirna campuses.

We can provide advice and assistance with:

• Study time and organisation strategies
• Oral skills for conversation and formal presentations
• Academic writing skills, including referencing, critical analysis and developing an academic argument
• Writing essays, reports and other types of assignments, including expression, grammar and punctuation
• Basic maths and statistics (Prahran and Hawthorn campuses)
• Basic computing and research (Hawthorn campus only)

If you require guidance for an assignment, please bring all relevant information such as task instructions and assessment criteria, an outline or draft of your writing or a clear idea of what particular skill you want to work on (e.g. finding information, reading the newspaper, expanding vocabulary, practising an oral presentation, grammar).
