Welcome Festival Semester 1, 2008

We had a whip-cracking time at our Welcome Party on Friday 22 February at the Hawthorn campus. New and returning international students were entertained by the fire-twirling CM Cowboy and didgeridoo maestro Ganga Giri.

Entertainment and fantastic food aside, it was a great opportunity for students to find out more about the services available at Swinburne, including Chaplaincy, Counseling, Health Services, LAS and student accommodation Swinburne Place Apartments.

We would like to thank everyone who came and the International Orientation Hosts for volunteering their time and making this event a huge success. We look forward to doing this all again next semester!
